Different versions explained - a paddle for every player!

While all JOOLA paddles have a polymer honeycomb core, the three letter acronym describes the various types of paddle surfaces. The first letter (C or F) notates carbon fiber or fiberglass composition. The second & third letters notate the type of texture.

Carbon Touch Surface (CTS) - Carbon fiber smooth surface that focuses on feel and touch for ultimate control.

Carbon Grip Surface (CGS) - Carbon fiber surface with durable, long-lasting Carbon-Flex3 textured that grips the ball for spin generation.

Fiberglass Abrasion Surface (FAS) - Multi-step, abrasion sand blasting process on fiberglass that offers power and unique high grit texture for heavy spin.

Carbon Abrasion Surface (CAS) - Carbon fiber surface with unique, multi-step abrasion sand blasting process that offers touch and creates high grit texture and spin.

Carbon Friction Surface (CFS) - Carbon fiber surface with premium texture made of textured Carbon-Flex5 that is durable and offers balanced performance, maximum spin and superb feel.

1. Reactive Core

A polypropylene honeycomb core that is specifically tuned for the high-level player. It provides maximum reliability on all areas of the paddle face and the consistency of rebound across the entire paddle is outstanding. Vibration is reduced, and the paddle has a solid, yet comfortable feel.

Hyperfoam Edge Wall

Hyperfoam Edge Wall is a game-changer. It is specialized foam injected around the edge of the paddle that adds weight and stability to increase the sweet spot consistency from edge to edge. This provides a comfortable, solid feel around the entire surface which also provides consistent rebound during play.
