The Tour Diablo Midplus is back! Originally launched in the early 2000s, the Diablo Tour Midplus is ideal for intermediate and advanced players who crave spin, precision and feel. With its sub-320 swingweight and ultra head light balance, this 11.5 ounce racquet moves faster than a traditional player's racquet, making it great for whipping up spin, hitting shots on the run or charging into the front court. It also has a flexible 19.5mm box beam, giving it the buttery feedback of a bygone era. Other notable features include a 16x18 string pattern (for easier spin and depth) along with an extended 27.25" length, resulting in easier access to power on groundies and serves. All in all, this racquet is not only ideal for those seeking modern speed and classic feel, it's also a great collectible.

Comments: I have to echo my thoughts from the first review that this racquet shines on flatter hitting and easy to serve with. I added 2 grams total at 10 and 2 along with 2 grams on the butt of the handle. This added some additional stability to the upper hoop on hoop on offer center hits along adding some additional plow through. The Diablo MP Tour is also capable of hitting heavy topspin and a nice slice backhand. The additional 1/4 inch provides a bit more reach and more power. The Diablo plays similar to the Phantom 100P but is more HL and easier to swing. The comfort level is quite good and I really like the feel of old school thin beam racquets. I just purchased a second one due to the sale and purchased some Klip Legend Gut in a 15L to try in a hybrid set up. Highly recommended to players who value the feel and control of thin beam frames!

Comments: Great throwback racquet from the 2000s that still plays well today. The string bed is pretty dense in the middle which allows for more control and a lower trajectory than a 16x18 string pattern on a 100 sq in head would suggest. This thing swings FAST! If you're a big, flat hitter, you will love this. Serves are amazing as well.
